Best tire inflator for a Ford F-150
An F-150 is not a harder vehicle to inflate than a car because of its weight — it is harder because each tire holds more air, the pressures are a little higher, and many owners have fitted a larger all-terrain than the truck shipped with.

What an F-150 actually specifies
Most F-150s specify something in the region of 35 PSI front and rear, with higher figures for the heavy-payload and tow packages. Ford puts the number on the sticker in the driver’s door jamb, and that sticker is the authority — not the maximum printed on the tire sidewall, which is a different number entirely.
Common factory sizes run from a 265/70R17 up through 275/65R18 and 275/55R20. All of those are ordinary passenger-carrying sizes at ordinary pressures, so a competent 12V inflator handles them.
Where F-150 owners differ from car owners
Two things change the calculus. The first is tyre volume: a 33- or 35-inch all-terrain holds substantially more air than the stock size, so a top-up takes longer and an air-up after a trail takes much longer. The second is the 12V socket: on some trims it is in the cab rather than the bed, which makes a cord that reaches the rear tires a genuine specification rather than a convenience.
If you tow, add trailer tires to the job at 50-80 PSI, and check what the inflator’s duty cycle looks like across six or eight tires rather than four.

Milwaukee M12 Cordless Tire Inflator 2475-20 tops this ranking. The most precise and best-built portable inflator here. Its gauge and auto shut-off are flawless, and it tops up car tires in under two minutes — but a 2.0Ah pack runs out before the fourth tire.
What you accept with it: $99 bare tool, and you need m12 batteries and a charger on top; a 2.0ah compact pack ran out during the fourth tire in our runtime test.
