Airing down is the same task every time, so the comparison that matters is structural: does it stop by itself, how many tires does it cover, and does it include a gauge you can trust for the target pressure.
We have not used these tools. Every figure is the maker's published specification, and a dash means the maker does not state it.

Three kinds of tool in one table
Manual deflators with a gauge are the oldest design: you unscrew the valve core or press a chuck on, watch the dial and close it at the pressure you want. Preset auto-stop deflators are set once and then left to stop themselves, which is why they are sold in fours.
Multi-tire systems are the third group. They connect all four valves through a manifold so the tires equalise to each other, and the more expensive ones add a digital gauge and a compressor connection so the same kit airs back up.
Stop pressure is the spec to check
The pressure you air down to depends on terrain: sand often 15–18 PSI, gravel roads higher, rock lower again. A preset set adjustable from 10–30 PSI covers the usual range; one that only reaches 20 PSI cannot be used for sand.
Where a maker publishes a stop accuracy it is usually ±1–2 PSI. That is fine off-road and not fine as a substitute for a road-pressure gauge.
Gauge and valve connection
A built-in gauge sets the target on a preset tool; on a manual tool it is the working gauge. Either way it is a convenience, and on most of these tools it is not the gauge we would use for a final road pressure.
The valve connection decides how the job feels. Screw-on fittings are secure; push-to-lock chucks are faster across four tires. Match that to how often you air down.

Frequently asked
Do I need auto-stop deflators or a manual gauge tool?
Auto-stop if you air down regularly and value not standing at each valve. Manual if you air down occasionally and want one cheap tool plus a gauge.
Which deflators include a gauge?
The gauge column in the table says yes or no for every model; about half include one, and the preset sets often do not.
What pressure should I air down to?
It depends on terrain and tire — see the off-road tire pressure chart. The tools here cover roughly 6–30 PSI at the low end.
