Best Soulor and TREKURE Jump Starters: Overall Picks

Best Soulor and TREKURE Jump Starters: Overall Picks

A safety-first shortlist of jump starters and jump boxes from Soulor, TREKURE, VTOMAN, WOLFBOX, and GOOLOO. Rankings are based on listing specifications, price and low-price history, and owner reviews on file — not independent bench testing.

How this list was built

This is a shortlist of six jump starters and jump boxes drawn from the Soulor, TREKURE, VTOMAN, WOLFBOX, and GOOLOO listings in our jump-starter category. I did not run these units on a load bank, a carbon pile, or a cold chamber. Everything below is based on listing specifications, current price and recorded low price, and the owner reviews on file for each product. Where a product has no owner reviews, I say so instead of filling the gap with assumptions.

The ranking order is a composite of four things: (1) cranking power as stated in the listing, (2) safety cutoffs and protection features as described by the seller, (3) pack size and weight for glovebox or trunk storage, and (4) whether the unit doubles as an inflator or power station. Price and historical low price are listed for every candidate, but they are not the ranking driver. Brand recognition is not a ranking driver either, and no affiliate commission influences placement.

One caveat that matters in cold weather: peak amp ratings on lithium jump packs are marketing numbers, not CCA. A 4000A peak pack and a 3000A peak pack can behave similarly on a cold morning because the real limit is the battery inside the pack, the cable gauge, and the state of charge. Charge any of these to 100% before winter and keep them out of a freezing trunk if you can.

  • Candidate pool: 6 products across Soulor, TREKURE, VTOMAN, WOLFBOX, and GOOLOO.
  • Screening: excluded listings without a stated peak amp rating or without a stated battery capacity.
  • Sorting: cranking power, safety cutoffs, pack size, and multi-function add-ons, in that order.
  • Disclosure: this list is based on listing data and platform reviews, not independent testing.

The shortlist at a glance

Each pick below is positioned for a different buyer. Prices are the listed price at the time of writing, with the recorded low price in parentheses.

  • Soulor Jump Box with 3 Modes Flashlight — $39.90 (low $35.99) — Best overall for most drivers: cheap, small, and confirmed by owners to start a drained CRV.
  • TREKURE Portable Car Battery Jump Starter 4000A 16800mAh — $45.99 (low $35.99) — Best for higher claimed cranking power on a budget, with a 4000A peak rating and 16800mAh pack.
  • VTOMAN Jump 600X — $299.99 (low $239.98) — Best if you want a jump starter that is also a LiFePO4 power station for emergencies and light outdoor use.
  • VTOMAN Jump 1800 — $619.99 (low $619.99) — Best for travel and home backup where you want a handle, a light, and a larger station, but owner reports are mixed.
  • WOLFBOX 4000A Jump Starter — $139.99 (low $119.99) — Best for buyers who want a 4000A-class jump pack from a known dashcam brand, but there are no owner reviews on file.
  • GOOLOO Upgraded GP3000 Jump Starter 3000A Peak with DEEPSCAN DS100 OBD2 — $124.98 (low $82.48) — Best bundle for someone who wants a jump starter and a code reader in one purchase, but there are no owner reviews on file.

Why each one is here

Soulor Jump Box with 3 Modes Flashlight — $39.90 list, $35.99 low. Star rating and review count: 5 out of 5 stars based on the owner reviews on file. This is the top pick because it is the only candidate with a verified owner report of an actual jump on a dead battery. One reviewer wrote that the lights were left on in a CRV, the battery drained, and the Soulor "worked perfectly." Another owner said it arrived at 80% charge, took about an hour to top off, and was easy to store. The 3-mode flashlight and the 2-year warranty noted in the reviews are the safety and convenience add-ons. For a first jump pack, this is the lowest-risk entry point.

TREKURE Portable Car Battery Jump Starter 4000A 16800mAh — $45.99 list, $35.99 low. Star rating and review count: 5 out of 5 stars based on the owner reviews on file. It wins on claimed cranking power per dollar: 4000A peak and a 16800mAh pack for under $50 at list. One owner reported the unit arrived at 75% and charged to 100% in a little over an hour, and that the USB ports worked for small devices. Another owner said the jump took under 30 seconds and the whole process from popping the hood was under five minutes, and specifically called out the flashlight as helpful in the dark. The main knock from reviews is small print in the instructions, which matters when you are reading them in bad light.

VTOMAN Jump 600X — $299.99 list, $239.98 low. Star rating and review count: 5 out of 5 stars based on the owner reviews on file. This is the pick for someone who wants a jump starter that earns its keep between jumps. The listing specs are 268.8Wh LiFePO4, 600W continuous AC output, and 1200W surge. One owner highlighted the LiFePO4 chemistry for long-term durability and said it handles surges up to 1200W smoothly, with car-socket charging around 65W. Another owner measured it at just under 10 pounds and roughly 9.4 x 8.1 x 7.2 inches, and said most portable stations are "basically small refrigerators with handles" by comparison. That size claim is the reason it ranks above the larger Jump 1800 here.

VTOMAN Jump 1800 — $619.99 list, $619.99 low. Star rating and review count: mixed, with 5-star and 1-star owner reviews on file. It is on the list because owners who got a good unit describe it as easy to carry by the handle, not heavy or bulky, with two light settings and useful as a power-outage backup. But the negative review is specific and serious: one owner said the battery discharged extremely quickly, with the flashlight causing a visible countdown, and called it a bad battery. That is exactly the kind of report that keeps a higher-priced unit out of the top spot. If you buy this one, test the battery capacity in the first week and use the return window.

WOLFBOX 4000A Jump Starter — $139.99 list, $119.99 low. Star rating and review count: no owner reviews on file. It is included because the 4000A peak rating and the WOLFBOX brand presence in 12V accessories make it a plausible mid-price option, and the low price of $119.99 is recorded. But with no owner reviews on file, I cannot tell you how it behaves on a cold morning or whether the clamps and cables hold up. Treat this as a spec-sheet candidate, not a proven one.

GOOLOO Upgraded GP3000 Jump Starter 3000A Peak with GOOLOO DEEPSCAN DS100 OBD2 — $124.98 list, $82.48 low. Star rating and review count: no owner reviews on file. The reason it is here is the bundle: a 3000A peak jump starter plus an OBD2 scanner for one price, with a recorded low of $82.48. For a driveway mechanic who wants to pull codes and jump a dead battery from the same kit, that is a real convenience. But again, no owner reviews on file, so I cannot confirm the jump performance or the scanner's compatibility. The 3000A peak rating is below the TREKURE and WOLFBOX claims, which is why it sits lower.

  • Soulor: 5/5 owner reviews on file; verified jump on a drained CRV; arrived at 80% charge.
  • TREKURE: 5/5 owner reviews on file; 4000A peak, 16800mAh; owner-reported sub-30-second jump.
  • VTOMAN Jump 600X: 5/5 owner reviews on file; 268.8Wh LiFePO4, 600W continuous / 1200W surge; ~10 lb.
  • VTOMAN Jump 1800: mixed owner reviews; one report of rapid battery drain; handle and light praised.
  • WOLFBOX 4000A: no owner reviews on file; 4000A peak claim; $119.99 low.
  • GOOLOO GP3000 + DS100: no owner reviews on file; 3000A peak plus OBD2 scanner; $82.48 low.

Who should not buy the top pick

The Soulor Jump Box is the top pick for a typical gas-engine commuter car, but it is not for everyone.

Do not buy it if you drive a diesel truck or a large-displacement V8 and expect a guaranteed cold-weather start. The Soulor listing does not publish a CCA or gas-engine displacement rating in the data I have, and the owner reviews on file describe a CRV, not a heavy-duty application. For a diesel or a big gas engine in winter, you want a pack with a published engine-size rating and heavier cables, and you should expect to pay more than $40.

Do not buy it if you want a jump starter that also runs AC devices or inflates tires. The Soulor is a jump box with a flashlight, not a power station and not an inflator combo. If you need 120V output, the VTOMAN Jump 600X is the relevant pick. If you need tire inflation, none of the six candidates here is confirmed as an inflator combo in the owner reviews on file, so that is a separate search.

One more exclusion: if you need a jump pack that lives in a freezing trunk all winter, the Soulor's small lithium pack is still a lithium pack. Owners report it holds charge well, but cold reduces usable output on any of these. Bring it inside on the coldest nights.

  • Diesel and large V8 owners: no published engine-size rating in the data on file.
  • Buyers who need AC output or tire inflation: the Soulor is a jump box only.
  • Deep-freeze storage: no lithium jump pack in this list is rated for a permanently frozen trunk.

If none of these fit

If the picks above miss your use case, two directions make sense.

First, if you need a true inflator combo — jump starter plus tire inflator in one unit — search our inflator-combo angle rather than this overall list. None of the six products here has an owner review on file confirming inflator performance, so I will not pretend one of them covers it.

Second, if your budget is under $40 and you are not in a hurry, watch the low-price history. The Soulor and the TREKURE both have a recorded low of $35.99, and the GOOLOO bundle has a recorded low of $82.48. Setting a price alert at those lows is a better move than paying list. If you need more cranking power than the TREKURE's claimed 4000A peak, step up to a pack with a published engine-size rating and heavier clamps, and expect to spend above $120.

  • Inflator combo: see our dedicated inflator-combo angle; not covered by these six.
  • Budget timing: Soulor and TREKURE lows are $35.99; GOOLOO bundle low is $82.48.
  • More cranking power: look for a published engine-size rating, not just a peak amp number.
